Steve’s Story

Steve Henline was born as WWII ended on the banks of the Diamond Fork River at his grandfather’s ranch nearly 80 years ago. Educated in Spanish Fork, Utah, he joined the Air Force shortly after high School and served 4 years in the Pacific during the Vietnam war.

Returning home in 1966, he soon married his school sweetheart, Judy Keele. They have been married for 57 years and have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Life’s path took him many places. He traveled the world seeking adventure and treasure. He says, “Lots of adventure, not so much treasure”. The events he experienced and what he witnessed during his travels have been the subject matter for his many works.

Before retiring he was a USMM 100-ton master (Captain).

After retiring he began sketching the animals and places he had visited, but in 2020 arthritis and a trembling hand prevented him from continuing these endeavors. Out of desperation and a growing desire to create, he turned to his computer, where after a two-year period, he mastered graphics art and once again started creating his unique style of art. It didn’t take long until his works began to create attention. His works, both wild trout statues and prints, were being shown in galleries around the state. He now ships his art around the globe to collectors and lovers of art alike.
